AmCham Labor Relations Committee is established to promote the advancement of the labor code and employer-employee relations in Montenegro. The Labor Relations Committee is actively advocating for the passage of necessary legislation and regulations as well as fair enforcement of laws that protect employee rights and the rights of employers.
The Labor Relation Committee cooperates with the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, other actors involved in the social dialogue in Montenegro and all other stakeholders in improving labor relations in Montenegro. In doing so, the Committee renders advice on legislation relevant to improving labor relations and the labor code in Montenegro. The Committee educates other AmCham members and relevant authorities and institutions in order to improve understanding of the labor code and raises awareness amongst appropriate stakeholders about the importance of improved labor laws and regulations in Montenegro.
The Labor Relations Committee aims at cooperating with regional and other international organizations to inform them on the current status of labor regulations in Montenegro.
