The AmCham Montenegro in cooperation with the University of Donja Gorica organized on Friday 17^th of November a workshop on the EuroCC project and NCC Montenegro’s activities. Special focus was on HPC/AI technologies, services, and benefits for companies and the public sector.

High-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence(AI) are widely used in industrial processes and support various commercial applications, such as innovative and complex product design, financial risk assessment and fraud detection, supply chain optimization, personalized marketing, and targeted advertising, improving business development and industry competitiveness.

The National Competence Centre (NCC) Montenegro was founded with the support of the EuroCC project (Horizon 2020) and continues its activities in the development of an innovative HPC/HPDA/AI ecosystem in Montenegro through EuroCC2 (Digital Europe Program).

“A long time ago, from one of the founders of this university, I heard that change is the only constant. Being a positive form of change, so I regard evolution. And thanks to technological advancements that enabled supercomputing and AI we are evolving at such a pace that you can almost feel it. Having said that it is no wonder that we in AmCham regard digital transformation as our key strategic priority. We see digital transformation as part of a natural evolution of how people live and work and thus offers huge potential. We want to see Montenegro as part of the group of countries that embrace this evolution and take advantage of it”, said The AmCham Executive Director Mr. Marko Mirocevic, PhD.
