Montenegro can only be successful if it is excellent. That is why the industry and the Government are partners in realizing the vision of our country being the best place for investments in Europe and beyond. It is a goal that is achievable when everyone is on the same task, it’s a message from the meeting of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro. The meeting was attended by Mrs. Svetlana Vuksanović, AmCham President, Marko Miročević, PhD, Executive Director, and Ana-Marija Simonović, Policy Manager.

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić said that in the coming period, the Government will work on the improvement ofthe business environment with an emphasis on reducing the gray economy, the fight against corruption and organized crime, and other forms of illegal activities.

We want to support the economy and help companies in the part of fixed costs through various forms of current burdens reduction, said the Prime Minister.

He emphasized that the Government’s focus will be on the development of infrastructure, energy, and new technologies without neglecting, as he pointed out, other activities that boost economic growth.

Representatives of AmCham expressed their willingness to foster cooperation with the Government and, in an expert sense, contribute to the creation of incentive policies to strengthen the business environment and attract American and other foreign investments.
