AmCham representatives with the Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro

The Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazović, PhD, met with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro, President – Nikola Tripković, Executive Director – Marko Miročević, PhD, and Policy Manager – Ana-Marija Kaludjerović.

Vice President Abazović expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to meet the representatives of AmCham Montenegro and emphasized the importance that the Chamber has in improving the business environment.

“Montenegro is a country with huge potential and there is no doubt that in the near future we’ll be a magnet for attracting foreign investors,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that Montenegro is open to the American investors and innovations they bring, and called them to invest in Montenegro. Abazovic stressed that AmCham and the United States have a reliable partner in the Government of Montenegro and him personally.

Representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce expressed the willingness for more intensive and open cooperation with the Government of Montenegro. They acquainted Vice President Abazović with the activities that the Chamber had in the previous period, with the aim of improving the business environment and attracting American and other investors to Montenegro. Delegation of AmCham Montenegro pointed out that they are continuously working to improve the business climate by fostering the partnership with the Government of Montenegro, in order to attract new investors and encourage the economic and overall development of our country.

Vice President Abazović and representatives of AmCham Montenegro also talked about the Program “Partnership for a Better Business Environment”, which was created in 2017. They agreed that it is necessary to actively work on creating a business environment based on the Rule of law, in order to strengthen the security of capital and attract as many reputable investors from the United States and Western European countries as possible.
