The Minister of Health, Dr. Jelena Borovinić Bojović, with her associates, welcomed today the delegation of the American Chamber of Commerce, led by AmCham President Mr. Nikola Tripkovic.

The Ministry of Health, as well as the whole Government, is aware of the importance of cooperation with such a renowned association, that brings together successful American, international and domestic companies, which is a guarantee of future prosperity in health and all economic and social sectors in Montenegro, said the Minister.

In order to improve the health system through teamwork and joint projects, as well as raise the level of health services, the cooperation must be at a high level, with the aim of improving the health of the entire population. The Minister of Health especially praised the great commitment of the U.S. Embassy to the new composition of the Government of Montenegro.

Representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce congratulated Dr. Borovinić Bojović on her appointment as the Minister of Health and presented AmCham organization, whose mission is, as President Tripkovic emphasized, to improve the business environment in order to attract American and other foreign investments in Montenegro.

At today’s meeting, they discussed about the areas of cooperation and specific projects which the Ministry of Health and the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro will jointly implement, through AmCham Health Care Committee, with special emphasis on digital transformation in the Health System and updating and revising the List of medicines.
