The American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro has elected new members of the Board of Governors and presented last year’s financial results at the General Assembly meeting, which was held today at the Hilton Hotel, Podgorica.
The new members of the Board of Governors are: Sanja Ćalasan (Trebjesa Brewery), Mladen Grgić (RE/MAX Montenegro), Branko Mitrović (Telenor Montenegro), Nebojša Šćekić (Sava insurance) i Predrag Lešić (doMEn).

During the opening speech, AmCham President, Mrs. Katarina Bulatović, said that AmCham has significant role in creating business policies, not only in relations with the State, but also with the diplomatic representatives and the private sector.
-We are constantly focused on creating opportunities, but also addressing the challenges. This year we have published our new Business Climate Report, which showed updated business challenges faced by our member companies, but also offered solutions and identified the improvements in the business environment, said Bulatović.

As an organization based primarily on membership, we are working hard, the President stressed out, to provide value to the members and attract new ones, adding that she is particularly pleased that AmCham is actively promoting socially responsible business, which aims to improve a social environment for every citizen of Montenegro.
The U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro, H.E. Judy Rising Reinke, said that she looks forward to working with the new board.
-Together, we can mobilize our collective resources to achieve our goals. To the new board members, I wish you every success as you accept this new challenge. Under your leadership, AmCham will play a vital role in Montenegro for years to come, underlined U.S. Ambassador.

AmCham Montenegro is a business association founded in 2008, which currently gathers 83 American, international and domestic companies in Montenegro. The Chamber is committed to improving the business environment, in order to attract US and other foreign investments.
