2017New Members Elected to the Board of Governors of AmCham Montenegro
American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro (AmCham Montenegro) held its annual General Assembly, in hotel Center Ville, and presented the past years work results. The representatives of the member companies elected five new members to the Board of Governors of AmCham Montenegro. Reelected members of the Board are Ms. Katarina Bulatović, Ms. Svetlana Vuksanović, and Ms. Sandra Štajner. The newly elected members are Mr. Nebojša Šćekić and Mr. Predrag Kozić. On the General Assembly, besides the election for new Board members, the representatives voted on changes to the Bylaws of AmCham Montenegro as well as Financial reports for 2016. Our executive director, Mr. Marko Miročević presented to the membership the Current state of AmCham.
President of AmCham, Ms. Katarina Bulatović pointed to the significance of US. Embassy support in Montenegro and active participation of AmCham members in the improvement of the business environment
Deputy Chief of Mission in the Embassy of United States, Mr. Bix Aliu stated that direct foreign investments are the key to the development of Montenegrin economy and that he is pleased with the fact that more and more American investors are coming to Montenegro. Mr. Aliu emphasized that continued cooperation between investors and stakeholders is a necessity in order to better utilize the benefits of direct foreign investments. He welcomed new members to the Board, which will in his words, have a significant role in further development of AmCham Montenegro and the improvement of the business environment.
AmCham is a business association, which gathers 87 American, international and homeland companies in Montenegro.
