On Monday, July 3, at the premises of AmCham Montenegro, Tax Committee held a meeting with the Ministry of Finance within the Partnership for a Better Business Environment. At today’s meeting, they discussed future joint activities of the representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Finance, with a focus on the communication achieved since the beginning of the implementation of the Partnership for a Better Business Environment Program, to date. In addition to the companies’ representatives of the AmCham Montenegro Tax Committee, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance dealing with the tax and customs system. The attendees exchanged views on the business environment in the field of taxation, as well as regarding recently adopted fiscal strategy, and the manner of adopting it. The next steps and activities in the work of the PBPO Committee in the field of tax were agreed and the need for timely involvement of the AmCham business community in the decision-making process and the creation of a regulatory framework related to the business environment was emphasized.
