Content is the Future of Communications

AmCham Montenegro, together with member company Represent Communications, organized a lecture on Content Marketing. The lecture was held by Borislav Miljanović, PhD, founder and CEO of Represent System, which comprises the specialized agencies Represent Communications in Belgrade and Podgorica, RealTime Clipping, as well as the business portal and magazine BizLife.

AmCham members learned about recent trends in marketing and communications, primarily based on the use of content. Bearing in mind how media environment changed, especially with the introduction of new technologies, classic communication techniques are not as effective as they used to be. Mr. Miljanović highlights that content marketing is based on sharing experiences, ideas and emotions, which contribute to establishing relationships between company’s brands and consumers. Good content must be based on great storytelling, in order to achieve the set communication goals. The biggest change that content marketing brought is in the fact that communication nowadays is available to everyone and this opens opportunities for business development.

The lecture was attended by more than 30 representatives of AmCham member companies. Workshops and lectures with renowned experts from Montenegro and the region dedicated to improving professional skills of employees in Montenegro represent one of the many benefits that AmCham provides for its membership.
