AmCham Montenegro annual General Assembly session was held today at Hotel Ramada, Podgorica. During the session, AmCham members elected six new Governors to serve on the Board: Mr.Oliver Obradović, Country Manager of Microsoft Montenegro, Mr. Michael Malvebo, General Manager of Telenor, Ms. Katarina Bulatović, Director in Audit Deloitte, Mr. Savo Djurović, Legal Director in Porto Montenegro, Mr. Slobodan Janićijević, Regional Sales Manager in Coca-Cola and Ms. Svetlana Vuksanović, Executive Director of Philip Morris. New Board members will begin their terms on August 1, 2015.

The General Assembly agenda contained proposals for Bylaws amendments, election of the Board of Governors members and the presentation of the current state of AmCham. The proposed Bylaws amendments were accepted by the General Assembly.

AmCham Acting Executive Director, Milica Dragojević, presented the state of AmCham. She gave a brief summary of the AmCham activities during the last year, discussed upcoming plans and presented the budget. In last year AmCham expanded its membership to 76 members and worked actively with five committees on realizing the goals set in our 2014-2018 Strategic plan. Ms. Dragojević presented the advocacy and networking activities that AmCham Montenegro, as well as communications activities.

AmCham will continue to work on improving the business environment in Montenegro, attracting US and other investment, as well as serving as a contact point between members and relevant decision makers.
