Representatives of AmCham Montenegro held a meeting with Mr. Radoje Žugić, the Minister of Finance, on Friday, April 3rd at the Ministry of Finance. The focus of this meeting was to discuss the current state of the business environment and future cooperation of two institutions. It was assessed that transparency and predictability of fiscal policy are crucial for improving the business climate in Montenegro.

Minister Žugić stated that the Ministry of Finance perceives AmCham Montenegro as a valuable partner in generating economic benefits to Montenegro, mostly through intensifying the communication and cooperation with the U.S. investors.

AmCham Montenegro will continue to serve as an active liason between the private sector and the Government, in order to help improve the business environment and attract more foreign investments.

During the meeting, it was concluded that AmCham Montenegro will participate in the Ministry’s working groups, in order to help create a more predictable and stimulating business environment.
