“Be the Boss of Your Career” workshop for AmCham Montenegro interns, conducted by renowned Canadian author Gloria Roheim McRae, was held on Monday, June 23, at the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro. AmCham Montenegro, in cooperation with UNIQA insurance, organized this workshop in order to introduce interns with the concept of entrepreneurship.

This 4-hour interactive workshop enabled students to learn about positioning on the job market, the role of social media in the modern business world and its importance in creating the personal brand. “We all understand that the world of work has changed for young professionals today. But what do we do about it? We need to transform the thinking of the next generation into being their own bosses, and thinking like an entrepreneur. Whether you actually start a company, or you’re simply looking to advance your career inside of a company, thinking like a boss and using the social media tools available to position yourself today are imperative. “ said Ms.McRae.

AmCham Montenegro has organized a series of workshops for its interns, which will provide them with diverse knowledge and exposure to new concepts. “We wanted to give our interns the possibility to exchange ideas, speak with Gloria and encourage them to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, which is essential for doing business nowadays” said Mr.Seferovic, AmCham Montenegro Executive Director.
