Integrity in the Public and Private Sectors – Achievements and Challenges

AmCham Montenegro, along with the Montenegrin Directorate for Anti-Corruption Initiative (DACI) organized a conference on December 10, marking International Anti-Corruption Day. The event titled “Integrity in the Public and Private Sectors – Achievements and Challenges” was supported by the Embassy of the United States in Podgorica and the Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).

The conference was intended to support and raise awareness about the principle of integrity as one of the most important instruments for fighting corruption worldwide. Two panel discussions were organized, with American and Montenegrin public and private sector officials and experts discussing the implementation of the code of ethics in the private sector, as well as the integrity in public procurements in Montenegro.

Along with organizers and the Vice President of JPMorgan Chase & Co., representatives from the Securities Commission and Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, as well as Public Procurement Directorate and Institute Alternative discussed the implementation of the principle of integrity in their everyday practice.
