AmCham Montenegro welcomed a delegation from the Swedish Embassy in Belgrade which is also accredited for Montenegro, represented by Ms. Liselott Martynenko Agerlid, Deputy Head of Mission and Mr. Bojan Cvilak, Promotion and Commercial Officer. The meeting aimed at discussing the current state of affairs in the area of investments and business in Montenegro.

The focal points of the meeting were the Montenegrin economy and foreign investments, as well as the overall business environment.

Both representatives from the Swedish Embassy and AmCham Montenegro agreed that there is a need and opportunity for more Swedish and other Western investments in Montenegro. This issue was discussed in the light of NATO and EU integrations of Montenegro. Also, the Swedish delegation was interested in the work of AmCham and the efforts it has made in bringing American investors and enabling the improvement of the business climate in Montenegro.
