2013New Board of Governors Elected
AmCham Montenegro conducted elections during its annual general assembly meeting on June 27th to elect new members to its Board of Governors. During the general assembly session, U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro, Sue K. Brown, addressed members and congratulated AmCham on its work to improve the business environment. Ambassador Brown also acknowledged the extraordinary efforts made by AmCham President, Ms. Svetlana Vuksanović, who will step down this summer after serving two terms on the board. Mr. Predrag Lešić, CEO of doMen was elected President of AmCham Montenegro by the General Assembly. Mr. Lešic and other board members elected during yesterday’s general assembly meeting will begin serving their functions on August 1st. AmCham’s Vice-President will be Mr. Michael Malvebo, Executive Director of Telenor Montenegro. Mr. Zoran Pavlović, Executive Director of Milšped Montenegro will serve as Secretary-Treasurer.
Members also elected Mr. Oliver Obradović, Country Manager of Microsoft Montenegro, Mr. Miloš Blagojević, Corporate Affairs Manager at Coca-Cola Hellenic and Mr. Predrag Hajduković, Business Development Director at KPMG to serve on the AmCham board as Governors without title. The six board members elected during yesterday’s General Assembly meeting join Ms. Nela Belević, Executive Director at UNIQA, whose mandate will expire next year.
