The American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro coordinated a roundtable to discuss the state of energy efficiency and renewable energy in Montenegro, as they pertain to the commercial sector. The Government of Montenegro, Ministry of Economy co-organized the meeting.

The purpose of the roundtable was to introduce members of AmCham Montenegro and other companies and organizations to the legal framework that regulates both the energy efficiency programs and renewable energy potential in Montenegro. Also discussed were the introduction of incentives for investing in EERE programs. Deputy Minister of Economy, Dragica Sekulic, presented the current regulatory framework for energy efficiency and revealed that the Ministry of Economy would soon propose financial incentives for companies willing to invest in such programs.
